On the 6th August 2021 Rekha called me. Firstly to introduce herself and to discuss my forthcoming procedure booked for Monday 9th August. From the very onset Rekha who as a professional has a calming approach which alleviates any anxiety the patient may be experiencing. Having met her on the 9th August where she again reassured me of the procedure, explaining in great detail of what would happen during the operation, the length of time and the aftercare/recovery. I cannot emphasis the professionalism of this individual. Having had the operation and since had an appointment with Rekha who advised all is well and no further appointments are necessary. I thank her and her team for the swift and competent way in which I was dealt with. should she decide to leave Queens would be a disappointing loss to the Hospital as well as the patients.

I have worked with her for last 2 years She is an amazing doctor, very hard working. Always dedicated to patient care. She often stays beyond regular hours to care for her patients. She is always available to discuss about patients. We have called her at all odd times and she guided us. She is highly skilled and often the go to person for many of her colleagues. She is always working with a smile even though she is very tired. She is also a very good teacher always ready to help.

I saw this doctor today at Queens hospital clinic. She was working with a nurse named Georgie. The moment Georgie called me she was instantly calming, very welcoming, friendly introduction and immediately made me feel at ease. Upon seeing Miss Wuntakal she was the same. Instantly made me feel extremely extremely comfortable, made a scary time much easier, she explained everything clearly and I didn’t feel rushed and I felt like I could ask as many questions as possible and both of them made me feel comfortable and like nothing was too much trouble. Their relationship while working is brilliant. They made eachother laugh as well as making me laugh. Never thought I could go to a gynaecology cancer clinic and leave in a brilliant mood!
